The city received five awards in the categories "Personalities", "Tariff Menu", "Renewal of Rolling Stock", and "Coverage of Public Transport Operations".

The National Award "For Contribution to the Development of Urban Mobility" is organized by the All-Russian Association of Passengers, the Project Office for Transport of the "Union of Russian Cities", and the company "InnovTransport" with the support of the Public Council under the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation.

In total, the competition featured 18 categories across blocks such as "Personalities", "Government Bodies", "Organizations", "Infrastructure", "Rolling Stock", and "Media". The expert community, as well as residents of the regions through a public vote, could evaluate both individual achievements and systemic changes in the field of urban mobility. Over 200,000 residents from all over the country participated in the public voting.

As a result of the award, in the category "Tariff Menu of the Year," experts in the industry chose the administration of Perm as the winner. In the category "Record of the Year for Transport Renewal," the Department of Transport of the Perm administration won according to expert evaluations and public voting results. Additionally, the Department was recognized as the best in the category "Coverage of Passenger Transport Operations" by expert evaluation.

Furthermore, according to expert evaluations, the Mayor of Perm, Eduard Sosnin, became a winner in the category "Personalities" – "Mayor of the Year" based on the presented project for the integrated development of the city's transport system.

It is worth noting that the integrated development of Perm's transport system includes: renewal of rolling stock, development of the route network, introduction of unified travel passes and cashless fare payment services, upgrading bus stops, modernization of the tram network and public transport infrastructure, digitalization of control over both the quality of carrier operations and fare payment.

By the end of 2025, more than 440 new buses were updated in Perm, including 109 extra-large class buses that entered service thanks to support from the regional government and participation in national projects such as "Safe High-Quality Roads" (which was active until 2024) and "Infrastructure for Life." Additionally, the total number of "smart" bus shelters reached 164. Moreover, new contracts were signed with carriers that included increased requirements for technical equipment of rolling stock and passenger service.

In terms of improving fare payment culture, measures were taken to enhance convenience: the number of validators and QR codes was increased, monitoring of validator functionality was conducted, and new payment methods were launched in the app – from Sberbank Online accounts and via Bluetooth tags. Control over fare payment was also strengthened through regular raids on routes with high rates of fare evasion, equipping transport with panic buttons for Rosgvardia, and centralizing the administrative commission for handling cases of fare evasion. Furthermore, a service was launched to display the number of fare evaders on transport. A similar function was also implemented in the controller's mobile app.
